'RRR' bags Oscar nod for 'Naatu Naatu'!
After months of anticipation and predictions, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences unveiled the nominations for Oscars 2023 on Tuesday evening. And we can definitely say it was worth the wait as India scripted history by bagging three nods. SS Rajamouli’s directorial ‘RRR’ managed to earn a nomination for its popular song ‘Naatu Naatu’. Shaunak Sen’s 'All That Breathes' and Kartiki Gonsalves’ Netflix documentary ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ also managed to bag nominations. Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams announced the much-awaited nominations live from Beverly Hills, California.

‘Avatar: The Way Of Water’, 'The Banshees of Inisherin', 'Everything Everywhere All at Once', 'Top Gun: Maverick', 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever', 'Tar', 'Elvis', and 'The Whale' featured heavily in the nominations.
